:hello:
About to pick up my Mk.IV R32 this week.
Hoping it will be a worthy replacement for my E30 M3 Evo II which I sold a couple of weeks ago. The forum has been very useful in identifying common problems and I hope I can contribute something in the future

Welcome to the forum mate.

As others have said, pictures are compulsory!!!

As soon as I'd arranged for a viewing I was losing sleep, and the night before I hardly slept at all..... but she's worth it sooooooo much.

Hopefully you went for the fastest colour :D

Thanks for the welcome guys & gals,

By fastest you MUST mean DBP  It's a mint MkIV with 17K, SatNav, Miltek, half leather etc. I've had no problems sleeping, still getting over the M3 but I took another R32 out for a test drive yesterday and it did put a grin on my face - love the torque. Got back in the (wife's) Cooper S afterwards and was surprised at how slow it felt in comparison. Starting to look forward to Thursday with a bit more enthusiasm now

90% of my cars have been darker shades, either black or in the case of the M3 Macao Blue (which is almost black). The only exceptions were my first car, a beige Ford Escort :puke: and a white Mazda Rx7 Turbo II. This is the brightest by far. Will post photos as soon as I can. In the meantime here are a couple of shots of the M3 and 993

:hello: and welcome aboard, congrats on your purchase I'm sure it will give you many years of happy motoring. With a history of cars of such pedigree will you be joining us at the planned www.r32oc.com trip to the Nurburgring in May of next year? If you do decide to come along your next decision will be whether to take the R32 or the Porsche. Or maybe both :)

Sounds interesting. A couple of my mates went there some years ago and really enjoyed themselves but unfortunately I had just changed jobs so couldn't take the time off. I'll have to see what the funds are like around then. Is it a regular annual event or a one-off? Will the day be run as an organised closed circuit or are you just going to take your chances with the locals? :afraid:
