evening all. just been fitting some cree led side lights and as removing the new bulb to make sure it was in properly it caught the inside of the head light and now its sat in the bottom with a hole the size of a 5p to try and get it out of. OR just leave it and order another? its bugging the life out of me.

As above only option tbh, the bulb in there could cause some damage....

Headlights are fixed at 3 points and one of them is impossible to access without removing the front bumper

Hi Gavin, this happened to me on the Lupo Gti (twice). Although access is slightly better on the loop I managed to retrieve the said bulb.

Here's what I did, remove the slightly larger bulb (which is directly above sidelight) insert a small telescopic magnetic tool (from £1 shop or similar retailer) through slightly larger hole and retrieve bulb. Put a slight bend in magnetic tool if necessary?

Never tried this on the MK4 R but I hope it works out?
