I need advice I removed outer skin and when putting back together I struggled with the outer handle eventually getting it all on but now the handle well the smaller piece which attaches to the handle is just kinda loose..

Any1 experienced or know the solution to this?.

Yea it's a pain in the as.. Spent all day trying to sort it out but still no joy... It all goes back together but the handle is kinda loose

Handles fit the same way in mk5 and mk4 , just make sure the torx screw is all the way out when you place the small cap in and tighten it fully

So the screw has to be fully loos then put the small cap into its position and tighten fully yea?

Yes mate that's the way I have always taken them out , I will just double check with one of the MET lads I work with and get back to you

Ayr cuz Iv take them out but it's the putting back that is giving me a big problem..it all looks fine but the small cap is still loos even thoug iv tightened the torque screw

Does the metal part the caps clipped onto move or just the plastic cap ?

You've got me there I'm not to shure I think it was both...give me the solution for both please lol
