The recovery driver who jump started mine yesterday said he had never worked on one but always wanted to, when he asked me to start the engine I gave him the keys and offered it to him, think it made his day.
My theory is that there are plenty of Mkivs but the owners are by and large a selfish lot who keep their cars locked away only to be brought out on weekends and sunny days
i do like the mk4 for what it is, being the first r32 but yes it looks very dated now days on the roads. its has lost the head turning effect now wich is a shame but thats why vw made another r32, improved v6 roar and style and quality.
