Oh dear, this is the second problem I've now heard about this weekend with enabling MTe and the like, its why i won't touch anyone elses car.

The nearest chap i know who could help you is in hemel unfortunately not much good in getting there.
No dodders I AM that person.....I'm just looking to see if anyone can help before I hit up VW to get it sorted. Contact has been made with the Hemel guy but I can't wait till weekend was gonna put it out there to see if anyone can help...Jon unfortunately the lad and I are nt fluent with vag tacho/vag com. I understand the principle bein that I use diagnostics with BMW on s daily basis, I just don't know how to work this operating system.
I think it is merely aligning the alarm system with the ECU or recoding the cluster with the correct SKC code...excuse y ignorance if I'm incorrect. I just need my car working again

If anyone in the Bristol area understands what I'm saying I would reward your help. These are the screenshots of the issues I have if this helps. Thanks

As you can see by the above shot the code has been reset to 0000

The best way to fix this is to get the skc from the ecu using vag Commander or super vag scanner
Then code it as if you fitting second hand clocks if you do it right it will copy the vin info over from the ecu
And keep the skc the same as before you then can then recode the keys to the clocks

Just hope you've not fu#k up the clocks more than it looks

Pays to get the skc before you start
That way if you mess up like this you have a way back
