I'm going to look at my first R32 on saturday its a mk 5 dsg with 36000 on the clock.. is there anything I should look out for..?

First thing to note it will be due a major service at 40k miles which includes plugs, Haldex oil & filter, DSG oil & filter and possibly a brake fluid change depending on when it was last changed. Budget around £600 to do this, so take that into account when negotiating.

Other things;

- check LED high level brake light works
- check inner shoulders of front tyres
- check for rust bubbles on the front wing around the wheel arch

Ahh right it's also due tax next month which I believe is £460 I doubt he will drop the price that much
