Last Night It Was Pissing Down And The Roads Were Really Flooded!!

It Went Through A Few Then Came To This Really Big One But Didnt Seem To Deep!!should Have Checked!!

Got Halfway Through And The Car Just Cut Out!!wouldnt Start Again!!

Needed To Get Pulled Out And Tod To A Garage!!

As The Air Intake Got Moved To The Front Bottom End Of The Car When I Got It Supercharged I Am Fearing That It Has Sucked Up Alot Of Water!!

Has This Happened To Anyone Else And Wot Was The Damage???

Im Really Worried Its Done Some Some Damage To The Charger!!

Garage Aint Had Chance To Look At It Yet!!!

Worse Case Scenario Wot Could I Be Looking At If Waters Been Sucked Up??

I Was Kinda Hoping It Would Dry Itself Out And Be Fine!!

Im Depressed!!!!!!!

Hydrolocked fella, worst case scenario is bent rods and screwed motor. If you tried to crank over the engine afterwards you may have well made it much worse I'm afraid :-(

wwwwwhhhoooohhhooooooo

some good news for me atlast!!

piked up the car tonight after the garage working on it for the past 2 days!!

they said they hadnt seen that much water come out of a car in there lifes!!

they took everything apart ie intercooler pipes, spark plugs etc and drained all the water out!!everyone in the garage was working on it and hopeing for the best!!

changed the oil and filters etc and its as good as new!!!

got to go back next week to get oil changed again due to a tiny bit of water still being in there but nothing major!!

£190 for the work!!compared to the £4 grand i was expecting for a new engine or rebuild!!

i didnt even sleep last night worrying!!!

moral of the story is if you see a big puddle, dont risk it!!!just aint worth the hassle!!!

im a happy boy again!!!!:biggrin::smokin:
