when i went to r-tech for a remap, they said the forge induction kits reduce bhp, proven on a dyno. i said i was thinking about getting one and he said they look good but thats it, reduced bhp and restrictive. dont know how true this is but just what i was told.

It's BS in my opinion. I logged mine on vcds and it had greater laminar flow than the Neuspeed Race Series, which was actually causing a slight lean condition. The MAF was able to correctly read the air flow gsm on the Forge intake (mk4) whereas it couldn't on the tubular pipe type Neuspeed.

Have R-Tech seen the size of the Forge setup? How can it be restrictive!???

Anyway another thumbs up for the Forge setup. IMO better than the K&N panel filter and the Neuspeed P-Flow kit.
