So I've got it off to do the exhaust manifolds and I've managed to snap one of the flipping vacume points. As you can imagine i'm well pissed off!!

What to do now? 2nd hand manifold? do vw sell the points so i can glue in a new one? glue in some other barb fitting and change the connector?

100+ quid on eBay I'm on my phone so can't be arsed searching the fs. It's the same size fitting as the the fuel filter connections but the inner pipe on the filter is larger which is a shame I might look at getting one made.

Did the same thing on my old car and just araldited it back on. It will stay put so long as you're not heavy handed with it next time.

well Im going to bodge (superglue) it and then get a alloy replacement turned up on a friends lathe when I can get to him.
