The power button my iPhone 4 has bust today. No warning before it went but now it won't even press in and so all functions from the button are no longer working. I would rather repair than replace at the moment so if anyone could point me in the direction of a decent repair site or any advice in general I would be grateful.

I have had a look on YouTube and can only find tutorials which require opening the phone up which I am sure I will mess up if I attempt it.

You won't just unscrew at bottom slide up stick a bit of paper Inbetween the button and sensor

It's easy I did my old I phone 4

I did try and do the home button when that broke and snapped the circuit board so I wouldn't attempt that bit yourself

Simple to do I've done a few iPhones now currently have a orange screen and back and home button on mine

As a temp fix go into Setting - Accessibility and turn assistive touch on this will give you a white dot which youcan move around the phone screen and use it to lock phone etc ????

Just do the paper trick mat, opening the back isn't difficult and there's not much you can damage doing what your going to be doing
