I've been on here for a quite a while now but I don't post too often so I doubt many of you will know me that well. Basically I have just sold my MK4 R32 and I am looking for the replacement, I am quite keen on a Mk5 R32 DSG, but as many of you have been in this situation I am looking for some opinions and advice.

I got to test drive a High mileage unloved MK5 DSG yesterday the ride quality (compared to mk4) impressed me and the speed being a DSG was nice also.

While I was there I also took a manual 2.0 TFSI audi TT for a test drive, out of curiousity more than anything and I was totally unimpressed it felt very slow and I wasn't overly keen on the driving position.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I am obviously not considering that mk5 I took for a test drive it was in terrible shape, definitely not owned by an enthusiast.

You can mod a b5 s4 to look/drive like a b5 rs4 saloon.. See the b5 rs4 thread in the Audi section... I reckon they are very cool
