Summer as arrived,at last, in the North West so I've taken the opportunity to give the R some TLC .

I started with washing the bodywork, early this morning, before the sun became too strong. Then a quick dry with a drying cloth.

I haven't been happy with the tail gate for quite some time, scratches mostly. So out came the polishing machine with some cutting compound followed by a pad change and a finer liquid polish to finish off. The same was done with the bonnet. Another wash and dry followed. I waxed the tail gate and bonnet. That's it for today Im knackered after that.

Thanks John it looks miles better in the flesh I can tell you that. Im knackered now. That polisher is a beast to control!

Hi Wez how are you?

I spent most of yesterday trying to get certain areas around my car looking better. The tailgate as been bothering me for a while now so I put most of my efforts on that and Im happy with the results. The bonnet still isn't right but ill get there.

That machine polisher really bullied me, its a beast! Im still not confident with it but ill persevere with it. (See photo)

I need a better camera the iPad is rubbish and Im not happy with how the shots came out.

I've have a Silverline polisher and its a beast. I've had it two years and I'm still not confident with it lol. Worth having though.
