Just got my CAI pipercross kit, Am I right in assuming that its just a filter and a bit of expanding tube? 250quid? Two hundred and fifty quid!! For this! Am I missing a part or am I in completely the wrong line of business??
Seriously tho, has someone got a pic or website showing what you should have?
Spose everything will be kool if it makes a large difference.... just feel like someone, somewhere is lying in a big bed of money and laughing.

The Carbonio might not be out till after Christmas.
ahh..... yes pipercross... well what would you expect????????

The only system for our mk5 is gruppeM - a proven +10bhp!!!!

The pipercross filter is FAR FAR too small for a 3.2 engine!

PM AwesomeSarah on here - she should be able to give you a date when the Carbonio
comes out. I know they have just got a new batch of MKIV ones in.
Am i right in thinking you got a filter to replace the airbox and a long section of tube to act as an air intake ?
If so then i'd send it back and wait for the Carbonio or something along the same lines.

I know stats wise they are all much of a muchness and i've said this before but, i cant see how sucking in warm engine air can be better than outside cooler ambient temperature air ?
yeh, thats the one, a 'carbon' filter thing that sits up top and then a bit of extendable tube that goes down to the bottm somewhere. Can I send it back now Iv opened it and fully extended the tube over my arm to do a 'lost in space' robot impression. Danger, danger....
Dont see why not, I'd ring them up and just explain its not what you wanted.
