Hi all, I have been on here for quite some time and introduced myself a while back. This morning I put a deposit down on a MK4 R32 in DBP! After 3 years of saving/starting all over and searching, I am now going to be the proud owner of the car of my dreams! There have been lots of ups and downs in the pursuit of this car!

I'm buying it off somebody who is a member on here (I'm not sure of his username but I remember seeing his threads). I spoke to him today and he seems like the perfect owner to buy from. I always said I'd want to buy from someone who has cherished it so to find this example from such a passionate owner is great!

Thanks guys, not it isn't Silver's - it's from a guy in Aberdeen. Good mileage and in fantastic condition, plus a great price - I really can't complain. He is also a real enthusiast which is really reassuring. When I pick her up and make the long ass drive back to London I'll get some photos up!

If you'd had silver car, you'd have been one lucky bastard... His car is frigging banging! That's o e R32 I'd buy in a heartbeat if I had the money! That guy has spent an obscene amount of money and many hours on that ride...

In the process of picking her up today - bank are playing silly buggers so the transaction won't go ahead until tomorrow now, oh well, a night in a hotel it is. Luckily it's in a beautiful location so things could be worse. Got a test drive in her and she was incredible. 3 years of waiting has been worth it!! I'll get some pictures up when I get her home

Finally home after a great drive down from Aberdeen (stopping in Manchester on the way to break it up a little). Needless to say she drives like a dream and the sounds is enough to set a grin on my face from ear to ear! Really love the attention she gets too and the road presence is far greater than S3s a d the like.
I gave her a quick clean when I got home the day before yesterday and took some photos. Not sure if I want to go down the whole detailing route as I think that can lead to obsessive tendencies. For now, I just want to enjoy driving her! Future plans include:

LED side lights
Private plate (something V6 ***)
Refurb of the alloys with new centre caps
Front bumper respray to remove stone chips
LED interior lights
Sat nav double din stereo of some description
Polo aero rear wiper
spacers

besides this I'm going to keep it as OEM as possible. Here are some photos from Saturday...
