32 pal, 5 years driving but only 1 year ncb, no previous claimsAge ? NCB ?
Admiral seem to be the cheapest by far quoting me £1,054 and that's age 21 and 2 years NCB and 0 Points..
I was previously with Elephant.
Tbh I was starting to lose hope, cos im on the accelerator policy and that it's only been 10 months, technically I don't yet have the ncb but have been assuered that should I switch providers I'll get the full certificate..... Adrian flux wouldn't accept this and basically said that I don't have valid ncb and my 10 months counted for nothingA mk5 must be in a higher insurance group than a mk4 then?
I am 22 and I payed £490 this year, 3 years NBC, 3 points on license.
The area I live in is cheap for insurance though, guess your city based?
I know what your saying but can't seem to get closer to some of you guys quotes@ Rtorbs - That sounds crazy expensive mate! Where do you live, Bradford of Beirut?
Im 31 with 2 years NCB and 3 points, my renewal on my mkIV is looking at about £600 with Elephant/Admiral.
In guessing that your car is maybe half the value? Minter's being around 5.5k say..... mines insured for 12k this year, 14.5 last.... Although it's irrelevant in the end cos they will only pay out book price.... but I've got gap insurance alsoThat is crazy, im in a nice area too. I did whack my housemate on there thats been driving for 15 years and has no claims or points in the last 5 years.
My mileage is 12k too, only thing is that your car is wort more money but still. You are paying twice as much as me. Just dont get that, feel a whole lot better about £600 now.
You obviously need to cost the tracker amd subscription and decide whether it's worth it.2008 5door DSG bog standard. Drivers aged 62, 59 and 33.maximum non protected NCB, driven c6000 miles pa but not restricted. Fully comp , low excesses, rural locality, garaged under car port. RSA £505. Aviva £440. LV= £205 yes £205 if I fit a tracker , same if I don't but no theft cover. Bit of a dilemma. Any views ?
Yeah ive switched to admiral now after getting my RNS nicked, elephant were both insensitive and downright rude (I know it depends who you speak to) either way switched to their sister company and chopped £300 of the policy price, and that included declaring 3 points from Feb.Im 22 no ncb no points mines £1000 a year with admiral
