Went shopping to Tesco yesterday, the better half driving, went to park and with no prompting from me parked it deliberately in a corner bay so that, and I quote:

1. No one can hit the R on both sides if parked here

And

2. Chose the quieter part of the car park.

The subliminal training clearly has worked!

I read this out to my Mrs and she said "I would be the same if you let me drive your bloody car, it wouldn't be worth the ear ache if I wasn't". To which I replied, your still not driving my car.

Ha ha some good posts in here, my lady doesn't drive. So yes I can't be releaved of my duty. But on the upside my lady doesn't get anywhere near driving my car

I get the "I look after the car better than you do" She now has her very own mk 6 GTD so she very rarely drives my beauty, not that I would mind as she is careful to be fair and she does make extra effort if she is in it when parking. On a side note the GTD doesn't half shift in sport mode with the paddles.
