I have the registration 'L6 VWR' on my VW Golf Mk4 GTi ..... just wondered what it would be worth to an 'R' owner or whether to sell it complete with car. Anyone interested or guide as to what might be worth?

Welcome to the forum.

As with anything, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Plates are difficult to value and can be a difficult sell, even at relatively low sale prices.

My guess would be around the £400-£500 mark.

I got W6 VWR for about 480.

I think the W is a bit more desirable so would say 200-300 plus transfer on top.

Cuprabob is right mate, it's a prefix plate so it's value is limited really.
I would say around £400 but it depends if it appeals to anyone specific....
Don't let it go with the car, stick it on retention with the dvla!
