3 weeks into ownership and looks like the n/s driveshaft seal is leaking

Is this a common problem??
I have noticed some whining on acceleration and decelaration and occasional grumbling in 2nd but no loud clonks or bangs..
No sign of dropped oil, puddles etc but generally wet around that area.
Just wanna be on the safe side before anything decides to go bang. Haldex was done @40k cars now just over 51k.
Not a good start to ownership but hey ho, does have a 3rd party warranty on it but just read that it only covers up to 55ph labour rates and a 1k claim limit.
Can't see many garages competent enough to do the work charging £55hr.
Will be taking it up with the dealer on Monday!
