Hi

Just wondered what little quirks your cars had to get a idea on what's normal and that. Like any little pops from the exhaust you may get or days. Where the DSG doesn't behave but then more than makes up for it the next time you ride. Post up your cars little characteristics.....

My (Stock) exhaust has raspy days and less raspy days, not linked to engine temperature or outside temp as far as I can see.

Very occasionally my DSG goes into full potato mode when I come round the corner onto my road and some combination of cornering downhill, slowing down and then speeding up makes it stick in second gear for longer than it should.

Had the steering lock engage a few days ago and I couldn't get my keys out. Had to fiddle with the steering wheel and do some serious jiggling to get my keys out. Strange as I had turned the engine off without moving the wheel.

Other than that 100% good times

Mine decide it didn't want to have its boot closed the other day. And I didn't have a screw driver with me and was 25miles from home so had to call the rac lol

1200rpm fast idle every time the dash display shows 16 or more degrees.

Occasional attempt to stall when pulling up to some lights, which the ECU sorts after a grumpy idle for a few seconds.

Random and sporadic clunks and clangs from the suspension, but when checked everything under there is always super tight.

Properly tempestous little madams R32s are at times, but just like women, there's a love / hate thing going on there.

I have the odd about to stall a while back but checked the oil level amongst other things an nothing else was said. Also it's randomness with gears yet could go out and be all perfect.

How much road feel does anyone get through the pedal also over the bumps etc and crap roads?
