Recently bought an r32 for a good price with low mileage, and that car drives really well, however, i scanned it and it has chucked up a lot of codes and so far using google I can only see that a bad earth could cause this I can put up all the codes if needed but this is the first part of the log... Oh they are all intermittent too...

That's a few codes!!

You got any lights on the dash? I would clear the faults and see what comes back

Yeah for sure, if it's throwing that many faults that are genuine faults they should bring a light on to like air bags etc

Are you able to post up a full scan? Had something similar on my previous audi A3 it turned out to be damage to the wiring looms caused by rats!

It threw up numerous fault codes but generally drove well, The steering assistance cannot be reached was familiar along with lots of codes aiming towards the central convenience module.

Have you noticed anything funny on your dash like lights or speedometer going dead at all?

Failing that try to clear them all and disconnect the battery to try and reset everything

I've never seen a scan in that format. It looks like it isn't even connecting to each individual module properly.

I'll post the rest of the scan if all the codes return but no that's just the first paragraph, vag does connect to the modules but I didn't want to post 4 pages of codes as it makes it a nause to read haha!!
