Hi all I have just purchased a mk4 R32 as I have always been after one. One of the things I wanted to sort was some new mats as the originals are a bit tired. Been to VW today to be told they are now obsolete for the r32 and VW only do standard mk4 mats. I did want the nice r design ones. Just wondering if anyone on here has come accross this before as I am surely not the only one and was there a group buy or a recommended supplier for these at all. Cheers for any help.

you will not find them anywhere, i have a set stored away, but as a collectors item kinda thing and are not for sale, but ive searched the internet high and low and they just arent there anymore, even in germany, you will be able to find lhd ones and they do fit, but not as well as rhd obviously, they do crop up on ebay for new sets now and again but you are looking at silly money for them, like £200 ish

Christ. Not good. Has anyone come accross an after market seller that will do as good as OE. It's that or I will end up with some new standard VW mats. I have heard of just mats. As a company but not had any first hand experience from them

give awesome gti a call, they have some r32 replica mats, they arent bad to be fair, and they arent silly money, im sure there are many companies out there that will be able to replicate them, all they need is mk4 luxury mats, an embroidery machine and silver tubing for the edges

i sold my gti..................(but forgot to take out the .:R matts)

they was still in great condition...
i could have sold them if i knew they was going for that sort of price...
