Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knew if the code was printed of the side of these units?

Was about to write down the serial number for this to phone VW for the code, but I've noticed a sticker next to the serial no with the letter C next to it, with a 4 digit code printed in blue.

Anyone know if this is the security code?

It kind of defies the whole purpose of having a security code if it's printed on the side of the unit

Might not of been a vw sticker

I'm selling the unit, so wont be plugging it it as I've only just taken the thing out.

Don't think it's the code, maybe a version number or something.

Doubt thats the code as bob said be pretty pointless

Take it to vw with serial no and vin no of the car it came from

Did you just phone a vw dealer mate?

Yup phoned them up with the chassis and serial number of the head unit and they give it out over the phone.
