It's time to let go of my pride & joy to make way for new projects.

If you've got this far, you know what you're looking at - this is an increasingly rare opportunity to own a genuine, unmolested, fully working Mk4 Golf R32.

I spent a year looking for the right car and this particular one popped up literally on my doorstep.

78k miles
8 months tax
12 months MOT
Comprehensive service history including VW and SEAT dealers and specialist
HPI clear, only entries are the number plate changes (she's currently in the process of moving off my private plate, car will come with a 53-plate registration - probably the one written on the service book)
Haldex/rear diff unit replaced by SEAT dealer 2 years ago
VW Health Check carried out by local VW dealer when I purchased the vehicle
Recent Haldex service by local VW dealer
K&N replacement panel filter
Cooling fans work at high & low speeds
No knocks, bangs or grinding noises from Haldex or rear diff
No timing chain rattle/warning lights
Always run on V-Power since I've owned her
No rust!
Excellent paintwork, usual Mk4 spots clean and has been sealed with Collinite #476s since I've owned her
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric II tyres all round, less than 12 months old with good tread left
Fully refurbished original 18" alloy wheels, sealed in Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 from refurb
Recent professionally-fitted windscreen
Two working remote keys

...as well as the usual R32 refinements:
Electric front windows
Electric mirrors
Automatic wipers
OE Xeon/HID headlamps with working headlight washers
Self-dipping rear view mirror
RDS Stereo Radio/Cassette with in-dash 6-disc CD changer
6-speed manual gearbox
Heated front seats
Half cloth, half leatherette seats - standard, but much hardier than the optional leather

Vehicle with have a new MOT once the private plate paperwork has come back from the DVLA and/or in time for new buyer to collect.

I'm not going to wax lyrical about how good these cars are, they're epic - and if I had the space I'd keep it. I've wanted one for so long and she hasn't disappointed - I'll be genuinely sorry to see her go.

Vehicle is located in Penryn, Cornwall - and I can deliver on negotiation, so please feel free to contact me to discuss. I'm sure I've forgotten things too - so call me to ask anything, or for more details/pictures/etc.

Cheers guys, and thanks to Cheempeej - apologies for posting in the wrong forum. Don't know how I managed that, lol.

About right imo. I got £5K trade in for my Reflex MK4 with 71K on it. I could have got £6 - 6.5K private but I hate dealing with tyre kickers and the dealer had a car I wanted, so happy to sacrifice a bit of cash for an easier life.

MK4 values are continuing to fall, as are MK5s, so if you've got one with low mileage, flog it now whilst it still has some value

I paid £6300 for my Mk4 reflex silver with similar mileage earlier this year so this is definitely priced to sell.
