I need new discs and pads all round and my mechanic has recommended Delphi Brake discs and pads as fitted they will be £587 rather than original VW at £918.Has anyone had any experiences of Delphi? Cheers

i think Delphi are more popular in the US than in Europe and are OEM suppliers to the likes of Ford and GM.

My advice is stick with the tried and tested. Have a look at ECP and remember you can get 25% off using forum discount.

Euro Car parts as has been said. Use the code R32OC25. Not heard of Delphi but make sure the fronts are OEM spec and two part vented floating type discs. You can tell by the spigots on the bell. ECP usually doe ATE or Pagid.

I think the 2 piece ones for the MK4 that ECP stock are Zimmerman. There is another thread on them and I'm sure they are £150 each after discount.

Quite possibly. But the ones I got were ATE although they were advertised as Pagid at the time.
