Hi guys,

Quick question, I've got standard suspension currently with H&R anti roll bars installed. I'm going to get the B16 coilover kit fitted soon so I can run some 19" BBS wheels without it looking daft.

Will I need to also get some new adjustable drop links? I've searched and found mixed answers here....

Cheers

On a MK4 you don't need to change to adjustable ones. OEM ones work fine even when moderately lowered.

I fitted some adjustable ones a few years ago , and all that happened was loads of knocking noises (rose jointed ones), so I took them off and fitted some new OEM ones.

OEM ones last a long time in my experience, so I just stick with them even though I'm running kw V3 coilovers

Thanks, I read through some of your other responses in old threads and came to the same conclusion but given it's been a few years since then thought it best to ask again. Even less suppliers now so if OEM doesn't seem to cause a problem then I'll stick with that with my H&R rollbar and B16 coilovers.

Are you still on OEM wheels?
