Hi,

I have a slight exhaust leak from my milltek manifold.

I can feel air coming out where the bolts/springs are that attach to the downpipes.

I presume the springs have lost there tension over the years and are no longer holding a good seal?!

Anyone else had this issue and can these be replaced and got at from under the car easily or will things need to come off to get access?

Best bet is to take it to an exhaust place that wont rip you off, as its very difficult to say without seeing the car.
I have heard the earlier design miltek manifolds suffered with leaks due to a design fault.

I had the same problem found out there is two gaskets between the two pipes that join to the mannifold I got two from miltek for £8 delivered problem solved

I'm sure the older style had this issue, they did redesign it and eliminate the leak.

You could paste it up for now

Yes it was redesigned and does away with the spring and bolt fixings. Here are pics of the latest mk4 versions with flexi joints.

Yep, I may contact Miltek and see if I can get some new gaskets for them.
