Ive seen a few threads about the shifters but still a bit confused...

Not looking for a super short shift so just the forge one would probably be ok but its £8o and ive seen stuff about a TT shifter and even a r32 shifter that you can get from maim dealers at 30-40quid :s ?

Also saw somewhere some1 had simply drilled a hole through the standard one on the car. Is this actually possible?

Just before i go buyin anything i just wondered what my options were and how easy fitment was etc.

I bought a Combrake one from a forum member a while back, its a adjustable short shift, i have the shortest setting setup for my car, the throw is tiny...

The Combrake was so simple to install, but then i assume they all are easy to do too

Takes some getting use to i must admit, but i love the short throw
