Finally got my new shifter fitted, after a comedy of errors from Jack (he switched my brand new gearknob with Matsu's used one, scratched the new surround and forgot to return my OEM gaiter - not very impressive) but it does look very nice.

Wouldn't recommend them for gaiters after this experience, but then I don't need anything else retrimming now...

Just a thought but would he not of used your original gaiter to make a template off it therefore unstitching it all?

Ah makes sense I suppose. Strange that he thought it was perfectly OK to keep it
