Hi guys,

Am after a 2007 Mk5 r32 boot handle.

I'm after the "Core" part, which is the big black bit, not too fussed about the emblem.

After new, not second hand.

For a project.

Why a 2007 one mate?? I have 2 one from a 2006 and I'm not sure what the other is from. They are both the heavy duty metal ones with the slow closing damper

Do you class new as working or brand new lol.
1 still has the original white worm non 3d badge on it which I removed from my car.
1 has had the badge removed, new Mk6 3d badge filed to fit. It is a work in progress.

I find it difficult to believe that you'll easily find someone with a brand new never used badge just sitting around to sell.
I would think that any rear badges you will find in here were originally on ones car and replaced for something more exotic.

Dont suppose you can see a part number on the core can you? May just get one from the stealers.

You can't get them anymore with the slow close action. They have been superseded with plastic, not metal and quick shut like on the mk6.

When you see the car try it and you will know if it is snap shut or damped lol.

Got one sorted in the end, bit of a long story but got there in the end!.

Thanks for the offer though, if you would have been a week earlier I would have snapped your hand off.

There like rocking horse ****, so I would def put something in the forsale section, they go for about 20-25 pounds (which is a lot cheaper than going to VW and buying the whole boot handle!

)
