hi all,

Was hoping someone knew if the mk4 r32 engine manifold is a straight fit to the mk5 r32 engine and if so where there any disadvantages or significant differences?

I need to replace my manifold anyway and looking at running the mk4 engine trim which doesn't fit the mk5 manifold as far as i know.

any help would be greatly appreciated

It's not the manifold the trim doesn't fit the oil filler cap is in the wrong place on a mkv

Thanks Flinty, that's useful to know. I guess i'll just stick to the mk5 manifold then and possibly look into modifying the engine trim in some way
