Whilst taking the coilovers off on Sat the inner CV joints popped out as the hubs dropped down to far. Now have a lovely vibration under acceleration suggesting that they are knackered.

My specialist is saying that you cant get the inner CV joint sperate to the driveshaft - neither from VW, ECP or GSF!! Is that true, the driveshafts are circa £350 each apparently, plus fitting!!!

Any thoughts? Only took the coilovers off to sell the car, now wish i hadnt bothered lol.
