Hi guys seeing as im leaving changing my car for a while ive decided to keep it and replace the discs and pads, I know the fronts a piece of cake but is there a certain way with the back ones , I know the caliper will need winding back, is there any guide on here or are they as straight forward as the front

Thanks in advance

the hardest part is getting the carrier bolts cracked open u have about 5mm movement on the bar i ended up putting a pipe on the end of my 1/2" ratchet so i could move it back a bit at a time because the breaker bar was useless other than that rewind tool and you should be fine you will need to go from underneath to get the carrier bolts off as there is no room from above helps to jack the car a bit higher so u can get a longer bar on as they are pretty tight

I used one of the poles from a Henry Hoover over my 1/2" ratchet to get the leverage from underneath u probly won't be able to get it from above with all the drive shafts in the way so hopefully your jack has a decent lift to get enough room underneath

Did mine a couple of weeks ago, as previous post said i had to get the back end as high as possible to get enough leverage on the ratchet for the carrier bolts, you will need an M14 spline bit for the bolts. Other than that straight forward. What make of discs/pads are you going to use?
