Now I know that there is a bit of debate about the MK IV and V, preferences, too many MKVs etc. so I thought I'd post this photo of mine and my mates R as proof that they can live in harmony!

Of course they can live in harmony. I would have considered a mkIV it is just that I fancied a new car for a change which meant i didn't have a choice.

they actually look so different to me its like they arent both R32's

I will agree that the Mkiv is better looking, however it worked out cheaper for me to buy a new MkV. (don't ask)

You joke but the amount of times I've seen Passats coming my way and I get ready to 'say' hi, then get dissapointed....

These new Passats should not be allowed :angry:

I hope that MKIV's & MKV's can live in harmony, as I have a MKIV and the fella is looking at a MKV.

I know, I know it's going to look very Mr & Mrs on our drive, but hey they are beasts. And what better matching cars can you have?? :blushed:
