MkV Aluminium Sill Protectors

I know theres a thread already on this but I still can't find any of the above for a Mk5 anywhere in the UK. Theres plenty for the MkIV but I presume they are different or can I use MKIV ones?

I'm wantin them engraved with R32 rather than Golf etc.

Have made some enquiries about having some custom made, but I am off work at the moment and will only find out more in a week or so.

Will do, have asked if they can be made and then etched with the .:R32 logo and was told no problems,
They want to see my car next to get some measurments. Soon as my hols are over with I will get back to it.

Who did you ask? a local VW shop or just a "etcher"?

My Boss has a Kenworth Show truck and has had some stainless items made for it.
I asked the same local company if they could do some parts for me and they said they would give it a go.

pics from a guy who had line runners, not sill-protectors installed:

and there's a guy i UK that made these, but he stopped making them for some reason, according to the Vortex forum members

You could also check out BSB-Metall Ltd.
They have alot of sill-protectors for sale, and they engrave for 7 quid extra :top:

Thanks for that link, I've had a look and the following link seems to be the bee's knee's
