Is there any way you can directly order the R32 Bucket seats after Manufacture from Recaro? As in the right trim colour etc?

Vw only sell the seats in 3000 different parts :argh:

lord henri (think thats the name) has some very very tasty ones in his. Not sure if theyr original VW ones though.
you could probably order them from Recaro if you know the spec.

i dont know if you could get the heating function added after tho....without some serious wiring work being done.

but my god is it nice :D
Oh god thats a point, I have heated seats :marchmellow:
you could get some porsche ones from a scrappy? not sure ont he price though...
There have been numerous complains about the quality of the OEM Recaro's which is why I didn't get them when I ordered my .:R.

Sportster CS's look good though.

Ive had a problem with mine. the trim likes to unhook from the back of the seats. because its not stitched and only clipped on, it is prone to coming loose.

the seat doesnt fall apart or anything, and you dont notice anything is wrong unless you are sitting in the back seats and notice the trim unclipping, but the knowledge that it does that is a little annoying :)
The OEM Recaros are a bit too wide and do not hug your body like regular Recaros.
the OEM ones are the ones that come as an option with the .:R right?
Not got a problem with mine. Awesome seats imo
Mine are fine too, I love them. Best seats ive had in a car, much more comfortable than BMW and Audi sports seats for me anyway. And they look great too :)
I priced up a pair for my mk2 S3 , they do come in bit's and Audi wanted £2k a seat before building and fitting! LOL

Mine has the Recaro buckets. Not only do the clips come off, but the foam inside is disintergrating. Going in to dealer tomorrow for the SECOND replacement. :argh:
(I'm not a chubster incase anyone is wondering!)
