My local MOT station does a test drive, well he drives it very briefly in the yard.

They don't run the R32 on the rollers.

what's a gyro?

It's a gyro for definate, rollers will smash your rear diff, make sure you tell them it is 4wd as not many people know

I have a horrible feeling that my VW dealer put in on the rollers?
At least when they smash the rear diff, at least it's already at the dealer for them to replace it with a brand new one.

I've been told that the brake test can be carried out quite safely on my car (not by an MOT tester, it should be added). It's been in for 3 MOTs since I've had it, not been out of the bay all 3 times and it still works, so make of that what you will.

Surely the one click on the handbrake trick will do just fine and disable the Haldex...??
