Hi guys, been reading on vwvortex and a few people remove the rear muffler (suitcase) and weld in a y pipe to connect the tips.

Has anyone on here done it? Its on a standard exhaust by the way.

I've heard of people remove the centre silencer not the backbox, that would be insanely loud mate.

Is it mk4 or 5? Not that it makes a difference it will be loud. Personally I would delete the centre section first.

Its a mk4. Ive had the centre section and it made it a bit louder thats all, dont want to ruin the sound but i want it to be a bit louder

Have you considered an aftermarket exhaust?

Remove the rear silencer! Blimey, ear plugs on standby! You'd probably get pulled by the rozzers as well.
