Hi All

Just bought my first R32!..mk4 2003 03 plate Black magic pearl, full leather interior.

Been into golf's for years, and had lots of gti's, Vr6's, turbos and 4motions, but when this came up for sale at a very good price couldn't resist it!...its high mileage at 198,000 miles!...yes 198,000 miles!!...but has full service history and it is nearly all motorway mileage..and runs fine with no issues (except a blowing exhaust flexi pipe)...lots of stonechips to the front end,and all original paintwork.. but is otherwise in excellent condition, with minimal internal wear to interior etc...just need to refit some xenons...see my wanted ad...

After buying three!..sets of xenons, yes THREE!..sets of xenons,anyone want to buy a set?? (one G1 set and one G2 set (need repair)) i have now fitted the last set to the car and all working fine...few pics below including standard 'adapted'! ones...;

also can anyone tell me what i'm missing from the bottom of the front bumper?..there are spire clips along the bottom edge as if a splitter/chin spoiler should be fitted?..spoke to VW dealer locally and on Etka it only shows the bumper assembly as a whole with no part number or option for a chin spoiler???..can anyone help?

The chin spoiler isnt ment for an R32, its a name is : Leon Cupra R splitter, and the are a few thread with the part number floating about on buddy .....

Have a look at my buid i did mine maybe 2 weeks back, there is also a fitting guide on the fourm. The is a bit of chopping and drilling to do but it looks the muts nuts when its done....

I assume this is what you are talking about anyways
hope this helped a little

Tidy ride with the miles! Why did it not have Xenons in it??
Previous owner told me one of them would not fire up for the mot, he was not sure why!...so he decided to take them out split them apart and cut out the multiplug connectors, then buy a NEW set of standard halogen headlights , cut the standard (smaller) multiplug connectors from them and graft the xenon connectors in...the result as you can see was...er...rather messy but worked..shame he ruined two sets of headlights in the process, although i think the halogen ones could have the looms swapped for a standard pair from a scrap set of headlights...
When i enquired about the 'bits of xenon headlight' he had left he said i could have them when i collected the car.. , but when i got there someone had chucked them in the bin/lost them!...spare ballasts, bulbs and igniters all gone!!

Anyway as you can see from my other threads ive ended up buying THREE sets of xenons to get a good set back into the car to original spec!
Fortunately the looms and plugs inside the car were intact and i could just plug the xenons back in!

Just need to find an undertray and repaint the heavily chipped front bumper (from the high mileage motorway miles).

cheers
