First thing that was done was replacing all the brakes and disks all round, I went for Pagid All round, so a nice OEM setup again

It started well...

Then the pads...

The disks...

Still can't believe how big the front brakes are compared to the mk4

Next was to remove all the protective stickers it has all over the front end and doors, i know it's expensive and is there for a reason, but it's had it's time and is heavily scratched lol
and the nasty eyelids..

Annoyed it has a slight crack underneath

Next was the paintwork, this is as far as i have got now because of the weather

You can see the protective stickers..

And how scratched the bonnet sticker is...

Cleaned the tips... from this

Thank you
i set out to buy a blue R, and came back with black, you can't beat the look of them when they're clean
Lovely car, and I see you have got to work pretty quickly.

Pitty you didn't get a DBP, as they are the best!!

Thank you
Air ride will be going on as soon as possible, i've already reworked the boot setup so it's all ready to wire straight in
only thing stopping me is the bags, but i can't pull £1k out of thin air! lol, as much as i would like too!

Yep, as much as i love the blue, this does it for me

When i went to DC at the weekend, i saw so many black MK5s, and mostly all with the r32 rear end, and thought to myself crap. why did i get a common colour, but to be honest, i've never seen a black R32 near me, or anywhere on the road
