I picked her up on friday and i havn't stopped smiling at the way this car drives, looks, sounds..everything!! :)

drove up to my flat today (175 miles) and it's awesome on the motorway as it just manages everything without any effort

only few niggles are that the climatronic flap is constantly moving around unless u stick it on inside air only, whic came up as a fault too, as well as coolant temp sender problem... but i'll sort those bits soon

anyway here are some pics..first ones at the old owners house...rest are in my garage as it was rainin :blushed:

Welcome to the forum mate - and you have a few more valves now
thanks everyone :)

got myself a spare alloy, R umbrella, keyring in its gift box and a new 2007 nav disc too so i'm well pleased! lol

one owner from new and full VW history just made it perfect
Looks like a good find to me, well specced too. 27.5k is barely run in as well, mine still felt really tight when got it on 28.5k, a few introductions to the redline and a firm hand shake later and we're flying along......enjoy it mate :D
Looks a good one you got yourself there mate and a full tank of gas,bet that won't last long.lol:xD
the full tank of gas was my doing...don't think the old owner was that kind!..especially as i'll only use V-power.. lol

half of its gone already and that's just with the 175 mile trip...higher tyre pressures and ECON needed next time ;)
Beautiful mate, well done and welcome. Where are you based?

home is in west London but i work in Cheshire so rent up here

got a garage at home so i'm happy but up here i'm more paranoid...

woke up this mornin to find cat paw prints on my car!..gonna take up cat-sniperin as a hobby if i find any scratches!!
Supersoakers (water pistol) are the best bet, as they will do least damage to the paint!

Even better if you fill it with de-ionised water, for streak-free drying!
nice car Tej..

how do you find the sat nav? I'm getting sat nav in mine (picking it up maybe this week). Where did you get the new disc from if you dont mind me asking??

175 miles on half a tank aint bad. Think you need to use your right foot a bit more tho!:xD

Looks sweet matey, a good find well done!
hi,

looks great, i nearly went for that one,
do you mind me asking how much you paid in the end

Andy :)
Nice one mate, very tidy looking example you've picked up there. Great plate too :D

If you're around London on Wednesday evening 26th March try and head over to Brands Hatch for the Prept meet.

i found it to be really good mate, love how it comes up in the clocks with the direction, count down bar and even the road name!...the sat nav calls out the road name too which is not often the case..

the CD is a blaupunkt one that is designed for factory fit units...ive got the case at home...guy gave it to me with the car so not sure about where to get one

@skierandy: it was up for a fair bit... i got it for a bit over 15 in the end... which to me is well worth it

I'll be at GTI spring fest tho!
thanks mate! Am looking forward to the sat nav. will hunt down a new disc!!
