Ok my car is not mint but I would say its in good condition for the miles and age. There's a few issues with the body work but my friends say its all in my head. If this was your car would you bother? It's never going to be entered in a show or anything and its used almost everyday so not sure if its worth getting it done to then sell it in a year or 2. What do think?



Stone chips on the bonnet but ill always have that problem



Clipped the drive a couple times



Just above the handle a small mark. It was the only mark on the car when I first got it. Also in certain light on the same door there's a small crease in the metal



Tipper van caught the edge



Got the rear bumper sprayed a couple months ago from when I cracked it but last I blame the mrs. Small scratch on it

stone chips are pretty easy to touch up and and then flat back and machine polish out, the scratches on the bumper will easily polsih out. otherwise it looks in good nick. the swirls etc under halogen are what bugs me most about paintwork, DPB really pops when it ha sbeen corrected.

I have the same problem I convince myself as soon as someone touches my car it gets a crease, dint, or scratch.

I also get meithered if someone closes the door too hard or boot etc i get so paranoid I have even lost sleep even after a body shop has said there is nothing wrong with it

A car enthusiast will always obsess over minor things that A-B people wouldn't even notice or car about.

I've learned to tune myself out of minor bodywork defects. I'm happy with "clean for it's age". I would never take a Concours car out of the garage and that defeats the object of owning such a car!

U think thats bad - Come and see my bonnet - You could re-tarmac most of the M62 with the amount of stones that always seem to clonk my car on a daily basis, i've just kinda learned to live with it - Part and parcel of the fact that i use it every day for work.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be very annoyed if I came back to my car to find a dent in it, but I'd get over it quickly.

I'm borderline OCD with the mechanicals and interior rattles though. I've just come to accept that the exterior is a big metal punch bag and no amount of detailing and special care will stop a lorry peppering it with stones.

most of the scratches etc will flat and polish outw ith 2500-3000 grit sandpaper

the bonnet, if you got that resprayed it would be softer paint than from the factory and would end up being worse in the long run so just get touch up stick and apply it correctly, sanding it down etc

I only use the handle I have grounded my son in the past for using the door frame

I must admit, I'm trying to train my 2 children to use the handle to close the door. They're getting it slowly!
Is that all! should have sent him to the work houses or down the pit for a bit of proper punishment!
