Ye was gonna say that, regarding leaving a nite, I had that happen to me a while back when I had an Astra gsi, (front wing and door), I went to the woman's house and she admitted what she had done, the next day i went round to see her after getting a couple of quotes and her partner went bananas with her saying that it wasn't her fault and she was stupid leaving a note - idiot - but glad to see there are some genuine people out there! I ended up getting the work done by a friend of mine who was actually recommended by the partner and he arranged for me to see him so wasnt too bad, I paid extra £100 to the guy for re-painting bonnet and bumper so all good - but guess what? THE GUY DIDN'T PAY FOR THE WORK HIS MRSHAD CAUSED. I felt really bad for my mate not being paid but he said it was nothing to do with me but his so called mate! (The arent mates anymore lol).

Off topic but why do you have a fire sticker on your bonnet?
He's a fireman Zig, I know Jonny from when I lived down in Exeter, nice lad too. I remember him buying this car, he had a grin from ear to ear ????

Hi guys,

Haven't been having much luck with the repair
I had it back after it was at the body shop for a month and I wasnt that happy with the repair and the customer service of the place was shocking. Then the car died on me not long after having it back (only after about 40 miles of driving) so sent it back to them to fix the repair issues which included:

Wing not lined up with bonnet, bonnet out of line with the grill, bumper not fitted properly, washer jet loose and matte on the top of it. Before it went in it had a 10p sized chip out the lacquer and instead of sorting that they just sprayed over it so now it look likes a dent! Slight run in the lacquer and swirls in the paint where it had been washed and they are apparently trained professional autoglym valeters... the headlight was replaced but not the ballast and it was flickering. I also wasn't happy that they hadn't blended or at least polished the bonnet as the new paint sticks out like a sore thumb against the old paint.

They say they are now happy with the paint work and the alignment and the insurance assessor has also been there to inspect it, but they haven't sorted the headlight as they say its just a bulb (which i don't think it is but I have to sort the alternator before they test it) the chip they sprayed over is how the do it as the chip wasn't accident related they won't sort it (To me that's just lazy and shoddy work) and they weren't paid to match the bonnet or the other wing so they won't even polish it up! So now I am going to have to get the bonnet sprayed separately to match!

Plus I also have to pay for a new alternator and fit it... or pay them £500 to do it for me!

But I still dont have the car back yet...

Bloody insurance companies again. They're clamping down on non specific work. As your car is clearly an enthusiast's car, it would have been nice if they'd given you the option to paint the bonnet and do some blending at extra cost, off the books.

They've treated your car like a run of the mill 9-5 job on a company Avensis.

Who are you insured with? I'd tell them you're not satisfied with the work and you want it put right.

It could be the bulb that's flickering. One of mine was and I stuck some of those fancy new Osrams in and it hasn't flickered since.
