It does require a couple of small jobs to make mint but I will keep this updated.

1st job as I have a headlight bulbs out is to replace the pair with these...

good luck with the headlight bulbs. unless you've hands like a kid you'll have to drop the bumper. have a look at mine on mine, took a morning to do!! (dying xenon thread)

hopefully pay as you drive will be along soon and save paying £600 a year for 2k miles!

(although I hold little hope any pay as you drive will end up cheaper for most)

Seen a video of them in a MK6 Gati with factory xenon and the led are a much crisper light

Bumper will be being dropped, I'm doing the side lights and main beam as well so best taking the lights out.

£600 Road tax isn't the best, but on the 2 or 3 times a month I'll use it the sound will make up for it 😉

dying xenons.......

spent hours today polishing and waxing her............ to then go to gym and when i left in the dark to find the headlights like this............ wlda rather walked in on the wife with the milkman!! been googling for the last hour and the pinkish tint is the Xenon dying, fair cop...

Bought my first modification for the car

Then the spending bug started to creep in even more.

Ordered S3 Brake clips (Still need to fit them)

Got the car out for a little run the other day after i washed it off so thought I would get some proper pictures

Hated the sound of the exhaust, it was a standard system with no Centre silencer and just sounded too raspy so......

Whilst it was on the ramp I had a good look underneath it, the rear arms are quite rusty so think I will sand them down and paint them for now & have 2 new ones on the next service.

The replacement scorpion exhaust not only sounds better but it also fits the rear valance better as well.

My steering wheel doesn't look the best

So I contacted Royal Steering Wheels and got one ordered that was slightly thicker but still looking oem and with blue stitching.

Then my final update for this week is I wanted a private plate for it.

I was after one that said R32 *** on it but they were silly prices, I then thought of a V6 plate like V6 MKV but that wasn't available so i settled for this one

That steering wheel is lovely, I really want to get mine done, is it expensive?
