hi guys

Im in the middle of sorting out my headlights... I bought a unit off ebay and the indicators keep blowing fuses and the self leveling doesn't work. So bought some a loom which contains the indicator wires and a new leveling motor. However it looks like the new loom has come off a car with the older style lights with the separate ballast pack.. I could do with a picture/diagram of where the wires go in the 12 pin plug...

Any help would be good cheers

so your not after an electrical diagram?, as what i posted shows the 12 pin plug you just need to interpret the drawing,

can you give a more detailed explanation of exactly what you want?

start on the first drawing you can zoom in or download it if you want

L13 is the xenon bulb next to that is

N195 is the starter unit

above L13 is a little square on the cable with T12a/6 on it this means its the 12 pin plug and its terminal 6 of that plug

if your lost on this sort of thing tell me more what you want to know and i'll try to help out

trying to sort this lot out... wish me luck. I've got part looms from 2 headlamps to complicate things one is from the older style xenons with the separate ballast. The 12 pin plug on the left is from the older style unit (I think) as the wires for the leveling motor come from plug. The 20 pin plug next to the ballast pack (from the newer type light) also has wires that go to the leveling motor (the same set of wires) so some need getting rid of and some I think may need soldering together...

First there will always be some sort of retaining clip ie a bit of plastic that needs to move slightly out the way, usually purple but no guarantee, then each pin will have its own retaining clip that needs a special tool or made up piece of metal this totally depends on what the pin looks like as there's 100's of different varieties
