Woot. My speakers are the best stock ones I've ever had. Although saying that my car has the 10 premium speaker optional extra. I wouldn't know where to start with replacing speakers

Ii also had the VW soundpack in my R32 so the speakers were OK but certainly not as good as the Dynaudio set up in my Rocco.

Try the search, I think a few people have replaced OEM with Focals with good results.

Personally id leave the speakers and add a subwoofer, doesnt matter how big or small, but that subtle hint of bass will transform the whole sound in the car, the speakers wont struggle anymore and its just...win

The premium 10 speaker upgrade is already really Basey. What's the difference between the 2 (standard and optional extra)

VW soundpack has better quality speakers and an amplifier under the passenger seat. Amplifier is supposed to be Harman Kardon, but never confirmed.

Thankfully later model VWs have Dynaudio as an option

Best place for it in a MK4. If they put it under the passenger seat they would have to have made it waterproof:)

On my Scirocco, the Dynaudio amp is under the passenger seat and the bluetooth module is under the driver's seat.
