Hi everyone, i have signed up to try and find information about used mkIV R32s.

I'm a mature student from yorkshire, and looking at an R32, i have never owned a german car, and think the R32 are an awesome machine.

Previous cars.
1st Pug 205 rallye bright yellow (age17)
2nd Toyota starlet Glanza V (age 18) Still own this need to sell...
3rd 2006 Nissan Navara pickup Aventura. (20)
Hopefully number 4 will be a R32

I have around 6-6.5k to spend on one, and have had insurance quotes for £700 fully comp.

Do you guys think i could get a reasonable motor for that money. (used auto trader so far)

And can i post here about problems with higher mileage ones? or do i need to do another post.

Thanks everyone..

Hi and welcome,

The price you have quoted is enough for a lovely example,

There is also a buyers guide on here somewhere that will answer all your questions,

As regards mileage, service history and proof is more important, you will find a high mileage well serviced one will be so much more reliable than a low mileage one without comprehensive history.

Hope you get what you are looking for

Just thought I would post up here, never got round to selling my startlet (fell back in love with it) But now it's sold and viewing a Audi a3 3.2v6 Quattro today hopefully, got 117k on the clock so going to have to check service history and test drive looks great though and abit cheaper at 4k from a car dealer called SJ specialist in Wigan.

Fingers crossed

Thanks people
