looks sweet mate, not keen on black as i think its a pain to keep clean, just my opinion though lol, and i must admit the MKV has grown on me since it came out

tim i wana see/hear your exhaust mate just been reading your blog some nice mods since we last met

 

i have my switches with chrome on and my tax disc holder turned up yest so will fit the easy bits now and the rest when i get around to taking my door cards off

 

switches look ace, where do u get them, are the specific to 3 door models or can they be bought for 5 doors?

 

i got them from german ebay, i think they are from a passat cc, you can get 3 or 5 door switches the only switch i dont have is for the fuel cap, i have found 1 from hong kong but going to try vw 1st as its £35.

all that it probably has on the car now is a remap from amd's but that was when i had the milltek non res and hi flow cats and pipercross vis kit which was sold prior to car sale. it should also have Gaz Gha coilovers on thats all im aware of

Finally got around to fitting the chrome switches today, i ordered a fuel cap switch but it doesnt fit so need to keep looking but here is what the others look like in before and after

 

Picked up my wheels today after dropping them in on saturday to J P POLISH in Canvey i was recommended him by a mate that lives nearby and im really pleased with his work, he has powder coated the whole alloy where as my previous mkiv was just the face sprayed for a similar price. These Cost me £200 for all 4 alloys to be powder coated and center cap to be sprayed which i think is a good price

Ive been into VW today to price up the chrome switches to do the swap when i fit my folding mirrors, do it all at once. I see you fitted the light switch with front and rear fogs. was chatting to the parts guy today as etka shows 4 different switches without the front fog but none of them say they have leaving home just coming home. did you look into the none front fog switch or just go straight for this one. Having seen the pics i cant wait to gather all the parts. how much did you pay for them?

I got all my parts from www.ebay.de think it was all around the £100 mark, regarding the rotary switch i think it was the only 1 i found, isnt the coming home and leaving home part of the settings in the MFD?

How much are they charging to fit the folding mirrors?
