Finally got round to purchasing a non res cat back and decat pipe from leericho. Cracking buy.
After hours of pain and confusion as to why it wasnt as simple as we had hoped, me and my brother got the cat back on.
The decat can wait as with all the sensors and remapping that may need doing i don't have the stuff to do that.

When i first got the R i was dissapointed with the noise not being loud enough. Now the cat backs on ive finally found the burble ive always wanted from the R. What i want to know why the hell don't vw just have that noise from the start. Its incredible!

Just need to decat it to make it loud

Not yet. Was a pain fitting the cat back. Was using two ramps so need to have the front in the air to do it. Plus i don't want error messages on the dash

let me know how it goes, droany, too loud etc or liveable, im getting a sports cat fitted next week hopefully beause i was a bit scared of it being too loud

When you fit your decat make sure you start up your R when you disconnect the cat pipes so you basically just have manifolds downpipes then nothing!!! It's insane the noise it makes
