in my time ive had a few landrover discoveries and finished off my 4x4 career with this:
a range rover 4.6 HSE on 22" rims and full stainless system, looked great but the mpg averaged 7!!
anyway, i sold that a couple of years ago, and for some reason out of the blue i recieved a phone call from landrover marketing and promotions today with a pretty cool invite, confirmed via email:

Time, place - and adventure - confirmed
I am delighted to confirm your invitation, for yourself and a guest, to the prestigious Range Rover VIP Day at our Experience Centre at Land Rover Experience West Country on Sunday 24th February, from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.
This is an exclusive chance to experience the hugely capable Range Rover, both on- and off-road. You'll tackle some of the most challenging terrain in the UK, and receive expert tuition from our world-class team of instructors. There's no better way to discover what a real 4x4 can do.
In addition to all that exhilaration, unwind with a spot of archery and clay shooting. You'll also enjoy breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea - with our compliments.
To make the most of the day, please try to arrive at the centre by 9.30 am,
They sent me an invite to test drive the new spider along with every other model at a track day.
Unfortunatly though Oulton park was booked up fast and i could only get to the one 2hrs away. I'd got back from my hols at 5am and would have had to set off at 7am so i didnt bother.
I was asked by some friends to help them buy a new car here in Tokyo. They want me to test drive a Range Rover Sport for them.... should be fun. Unfortunatleuy they can't be convinced to buy an RS4 Audi.
