Hi my golf gt 2006 has been run out of diesel to the bottom of the tank .....and now I can get it started now can eny one help me with eny ideas on how to do so would be very grateful for eny info at all thank....Victoria x

Pretty sure that the pump is not self priming so you will need to use a small hand held vacuum pump onto,the fuel line to draw up fresh fuel. There will be a port on the fuel rail to enable you to do this. However, you probably do not have the relevant pump. Time for the AA ?

Fill the fuel filter housing with fuel and put easier start through the intake and it will start
Had the same with a mk6
